Brief History

WELSH JUNIOR OF THE YEAR held it’s first competition in 2008.

It is held under the auspices of Cardiff Canine Society and is open to all dogs that have won a junior class and are resident within Wales.

Since its inauguration it has gone from strength to strength and is now a must to do date in every welsh dog persons show diary whether they are competing or waiting for their next Junior to compete.

Its fun, good chat, good food, great like minded people, in a great atmosphere with a crescendo of excitement building up as the day progresses.

Never been, you don’t know what your missing.

WELSH JUNIOR HANDLER OF THE YEAR

Well what is a history without children, without them there will be none!

Introduced in 2011 and organised expertly by Dr. Phillippa Pearson to date, 2018 will see our new secretary Carly Mills-Jones taking up her position and the introduction of an elder age class taking part in the competition.
